Thanks for your input to the forum. You are short on the oil. This bit me yesterday and am scared to go short in case it goes up. 73 short sounds good, but what about the stop. I want to get in.

In theory its simple, but live trading beats the daylight out of an individual when the trade is going against you. Yes, you can have the stops in place and you would've assessed the risk, but it still depends on how much you can stomach, and then the stop will relief you of your misery.

Placing stops in the right place is also key and I still need to learn this and apply it with confidence.

Controlling your emotions, is the biggest challenge. When you are in the heat of the moment and in the abyss of the markets fear/hope/greed all kick in at once. I understand what Jamal is going through and if we all help each other and support each then we can come along way. Yes, Risk management is very important, but this comes with time and experieance. Normally the individuals funds run out dry and he/she are unable to gain the experiance over time.

Jamal, wait for Ashraf Twitpics and that will give a visability of the markets and take his advice and judgement targets.

I have shorted Gbp/Jpy at 154.16. Can you let me know if this was a good enough entry. Can you advise on where a better entry point would've been.

Every time I read your comments, i'm astonished how accurate your suggestions are and the wealth of knowledge you have is unbelievable. You are truly are one of the heavyweights when it comes to trading. What really amazes me is that you have a successful job and there is no need for you to use up your time and share your thoughts. Luckily you are not selfish and you have a desire to share some knowledge. Because of this, many of us have been able to put food on the table for our families and pay our bills. Not too sure if you looked at it like this.
